🚆 Getting to Val d’Isère… via Bourg-Saint-Maurice!
Val d’Isère cannot be reached directly by train. The nearest train station is Bourg-Saint-Maurice (40 minutes away), which is easily accessible from many cities via SNCF train services. Once you arrive in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, several options are available to continue your journey to Val d’Isère:

BUS
Getting to Val d’Isère by bus
To reach Val d’Isère by public transport, the first step is to get to Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

✔️ Once you arrive in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, take the regular S82 bus service directly to Val d’Isère. This service runs frequently and is suitable for travellers with luggage. More information and bookings available here:

- 30 km from Bourg-Saint-Maurice (40 minutes)
- 86 km from Albertville (1 hour 20 minutes)
- 135 km from Chambéry (2 hours)
- 165 km from Grenoble (2 hours 30 minutes)
- 240 km from Lyon (3 hours)
- 220 km from Geneva (3 hours)

Plane
The nearest airports are:
- Geneva (3 hours by car)
- Lyon (3 hours by car)
- Chambéry (2 hours by car)
- Grenoble (2 hours 30 minutes by car)
Bus transfers are available from the various airports to Val d’Isère with Altibus or Ben’s Bus. You can also choose to travel by taxi transfer.
Car Parks
Several car parks are available in Val d’Isère. However, if you would like to be as close as possible to the Critérium de la Première Neige, we recommend parking at P0 (Centre Car Park) or P1 (Face de Bellevarde Car Park) for the men’s weekend, and at P2 (La Daille Car Park) for the women’s weekend.
You can also park in other car parks and use the free shuttle services provided by the resort to reach the competition venues.
