🚆 En route to Val d’Isère… via Bourg-Saint-Maurice !
It is not possible to reach Val d’Isère directly by train. The nearest station is Bourg-Saint-Maurice (40 minutes away), easily accessible from many towns via the rail network (TGV, Eurostat, Thalys,…). Once in Bourg, there are several options for getting up to Val d’Isère:
- Bus
- Cabs
- Or carpooling

How to get to Val d’Isère by bus
To get to Val d’Isère by public transport, the first step is to arrive in Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

Bus transfers are available from the various airports to Val d’Isère with Altibus or Ben’s Bus. If you prefer peace and quiet, opt for a cab transfer.
PARKING
Several parking lots are available in Val d’Isère, but if you want to be closest to the Critérium de la Première Neige, we recommend parking at P0 (Parking du Centre) or P1 (Parking Face de Bellevarde) for the men’s weekend, and P2 (Parking de la Daille) for the women’s weekend. You can also park in the other parking lots and use the free shuttles provided by the resort to get to the competition venues.
